Foam fire extinguishers are used to extinguish fires caused by gasoline, kerosene, diesel and wood. Carbon dioxide start extinguishers are mainly which extinguish the first particular fires of costly infrastructure, racks, instruments, electric related equipment lower than 600 volts and consequently cooking oil. When in use, first lift the fire extinguisher to the fire location, put down the fire extinguisher, pull out the safety pin, hold the handle at the root of the horn with one hand, and hold the handle of the opening and closing valve tightly with the other hand. For carbon dioxide fire extinguishers without spray hoses, the horn should be turned up 70-90 degrees. When in use, do not directly grasp the outer wall of the horn or the metal connecting pipe with your hands to prevent frostbite. When using a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher outdoors, you should choose the upwind direction to spray; when using it in a small indoor space, the operator should leave quickly after the fire is extinguished to prevent suffocation.

When an electrical appliance fires, use fine soil, sand, carbon tetrachloride or 1211 fire extinguishers to extinguish the fire. Never use water to extinguish the fire, so as to avoid electric shock accidents.
