Hey I'm new to this site just thought i would put up a post trying to get to know everyone a little better. For me I play a lot of blues guitar i have been playing for about 3 years always trying to learn more and i found out about this site by a youtube lesson. So i thought I would come here. So just wanted to put a post saying hey.

NEw to the site here as well... Only been playing for about 4 months now... have taken a few lessos, but mainly concentrating on theory there. Have not spent allot of time learning songs from tabs because I WANT to learn to play the guitar, not copy other peoples music. Like what I have found here, keep up the good work... I am sure I apeak for lots of people when I say we really appreciate it... Thanks again...

Hi im new to this site as well, all the way from Australia. Great free jam tracks, just what i need, Gets hard to practice on ur own im sure they will come in handy. Been playing guitar for roughly 2 yrs. My style is funk- rock anything that sounds cool really. RHCP etc. Looking forward to meeting others and enjoying the guitar theroy together.

New here also. Man concentrate on school man! The site is awesome and really like how everybody posts with respect to each other and everybody here is sharing what they love and that is music! you kno iv actully been enjoying the jam tracks from this site for the past couple weeks, so i today i finnaly decided to make an account. So far this has been a great site iv got almost 10 years playing and trust me its hard to come across a site that has this much to offer without trying to sqeaz a buck out of ya, (well other then youtube of course).
Also, one other thing, are the jam tracks downloadable? bc the link listed only takes me to a streaming quicktime player in a seprate page with no option to download. other then that keep up the good work.

hey Im new so thought id post an introduction. I play electric guitar mainly but I really enjoy both acoustic and classical as well. I play alot of southern rock and blues, but I play for my church and lead worship so I am pretty diverse. I have played for about 4 years in counting. The video lessons are really good, I give guitar lessons myself so kudos my friend. Caleb.

ello', my name is shane. I play electric guitar, Im interested in some blues at times but mostly i play metal or hard rock(buts sometimes if you catch me alone i will be playing some slash stuff >.>. I dont play anywhere public but I am in a band with two of my best friends. um...oh also heres some of my influences..from highest to lowest

1. angus young(the song thunder struck inspired me more than any other song in the world)
2. Kirk hammet & james hetfield (every song on the black album and master of puppets ifluenced me)
3. slash ( ithink its because of my moms love for gnr o.0)
4. Zakk wylde(his pinch harmonics in no more tears solo made me want to learn to do them )
5. dave mustaine (not a big fan of some of his solos but his rythm along with james' rythm is still what i use to this day)

and now you know me more ^_^

Another new guy here. Old guy been a guiter owner for about 15 years. I pick it up and set it down but it's always fun for me. Now with help from sites like this and you tube I feel
like I'm making more progress than ever.
