Suggestion about Bluegrass
by AllweneedisBlues 1 Year, 8 Months ago

I'm a beginner blues player and I ran into a random guy in a bus who played blues for 20 years that suggests I should try playing bluegrass. I heard some insane bluegrass on the guitar, mandolin, banjo, and even slide guitar! but I don't know how they do it. Bluegrass sounds fun and I heard that it also uses the same scales as blues, except it follows a different rhythm and probably uses more hidden notes. Right now, I don't know those dark mysterious secrets that bluegrass players are hiding and I'm blindly figuring these songs out. You revealed the critical areas in blues, rock, and jazz. If you have the time, energy, money, and soul, maybe you can put up a new section on bluegrass. There's no pressure, I'm just offering a suggestion. Also speaking about slide guitar, if you are experienced with blues slide guitar, you could also add that in the blues section.

I live in Canada, where bluegrass is not that popular. Not a lot of people play it around my area. I just thoguht it sounds cool and it's nice to be open to a variety of genres.
